I like this pub because there is room for groups, a good offer of beers and drinks. But, sometimes, the staff is a little bit rude.

Visited early evening. Unpretentious and friendly, feels like a local bar. Good jukebox and a decent range of local and world beers and ales. We had the Bear Black stout and it was splendid. A mixture of tables and booths, most with heavily scrawled on surfaces. We added our own. Quite quiet in the early evening but we visited again... More

Santacon was in full effect, so it was pretty wild. Peculier is a nice little hole in the wall. Good music and not so loud you can't carry on a conversation. We ended up there out of sheer chance. Just walking down the street and went in. We hung out for 3 or 4 hours mingling with the crowd. It... More

The beers are delicious and the overall atmosphere is different and nice. We weren't very happy with the overall experience though; we were left waiting for ages to have our food order taken after being served drinks. In the end I had to get up and go over to our waitress who kindly informed me that another waitress would be... More

We were looking for a fun, relaxing place to have some drinks and grab a bit to eat and we found it here. Loved the atmosphere and the drinks and food were both very good.

On a recent trip to NYC we realised we were not staying far from this bar, which a couple of our party had been to on previous visits to NYC. We had a couple of really boozy nights here and one of them ended up in the Korean karaoke bar upstairs - which is getting another review of its own......... More

Very dirty. I ditched a boyfriend who brought me to this bar on a date. And the ladies restroom was disgusting.

I searched for NYC bars on Trip Advisor and randomly pic this one. What a nice pic, I must say. Very charming, with a great selection of beers and pretty decent food. Being from Brasil I must say that the trouble of getting up and paying for my beer as I pick it up didn't botter me at all. They... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
