This bar has a history and it has an old fashion style! I liked it, the appetizers are good and the cocktails are amazing although honestly this place made me just want champagne for some reason, maybe because of the environment or vibe haha I have no idea but I wanted something more simple an not elaborated cocktails. It's an... More

I thought 💭 it was going to be a bit small to have a cocktail in. ( on first impressions) actually It's Just Right. It's a Bar that Anyone can enter-Singles-Couples or a Small Group. It's rectangular with a wonderful atmosphere. I was told "The Bloody Mary" was Invented there so that's what I stuck to. They were simply The... More

Visited on March 11, 2017 because we were attracted by its celebrity status. The surliest barman ever encountered in New York said the speciality was a Bloody Mary. He literally scowled at me when I ordered one. And this is how the bar 'speciality' was created. He scooped ice into what appeared to me to be a wine glass, dumped a... More

Went to see the Maxfield Parrish mural that is the backdrop of this iconic bar. We always stop in when in nyc. We decided to have speciality cocktails. They were premixed in jugs in a frig. Mine was suppose to be made with soda. Obviously coming premixed it was flat. For $24 and at the St. Regis, I would expect... More

One of the best bars in NYC. The atmosphere is typical of a bar with businessmen, wealthy and tourists at the same time. Everyone is served the same. The climate is cozy but sometimes a bit louder from the many voices. To the drinks one receives unsolicited small snacks which are always replenished. The service is top like you're accustomed... Best to do this during a week day when the bar isn't jammed. The reviews talk about how frenetic it is in there, but we found just the opposite. We were there around 1:00 on Friday. That gives you great service, plenty of time to check out the mural by Maxfield Parrish and chat with the bartender. Such a kick... More

Okay, it's the Saint Regis. It's supposed to be expensive. BUT it's also supposed to have great service, and this is where the experience goes south. How long should you wait for a $25 shot? How long does it take for the bowl of nuts if the waiter actually cared? better bet for a top experience- go across 5th avenue... More

This is the place where Bloody Mary is born, So me and my friends went here to enjoy the Red Snapper (Bloody Mary) compliment with their delicious bar menu. I had the oysters and may i say that it's the best combination to make your tong dance it's happy dance. The service is from a high end quality, definitely made... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
