Home to Ed Sullivan and David Letterman. It has been used for TV for 80 years. Too bad they don't have any good TV to put in now.

Reserved tickets for the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Waited in line, went through security, entered the theater, got briefed on do's and don't's of TV tapings and had a wonderful time being part of a live-on tape event.

Only had standby tickets, recommend to get in the line early - get there by 15:00 - and just write the rest of the day off haha - but well worth it...

Sorry, don't know. I do know they go thru a rather extensive 5 day a week production routine for Colbert. But it is an impressive theater.

Yes, you can bring your phone in. But you are not allowed to use it, take pictures with it or anything like that. In case they see you doing so, they might ask you to leave the theatre.
