I had to give it one bubble as zero bubbles is not an option. We went there, on the recommendation of friends, on our last night in NYC. The cover was $35, which was outrageous, but we thought it was going to be good. How...More

I was invited to New York for my first time and went to Birdland for an evening of Jazz and drinks/snacks before dinner, it was an amazing experience with quality Jazz music!! A must experience and it’s right down where everything is happening!

The place is located in the center of Manhattan, where many theaters are located, is big, with many tables and a rather small stage. Food, drinks and service are ok,but you pay extra for everything. We watched the 4 generations of miles but we didn't like...More

Everyone who knows anything about jazz knows Birdland is a mecca for the best artists. What may not be known is that in addition to great music, the place offers surprisingly good food and remarkably reasonable prices by New York standards. The servers are also...More

Come early and get good seats, usually couples have closer to the stage tables but view is good from everywhere. We did not eat but had a peach cobbler that was amazing.

Before you head to NYC, check who's playing and buy a ticket online. We booked a show for the noted jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli and his talented band. The seats we got were first class as was the service and the atmosphere. Drinks aren't cheap,...More

A little jazz with dinner? Yes, thank you. Perfect way to spend our last night in the city. This was exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be back.

This is a great jazz club - a national treasure - near the Theatre District in Manhatten, NYC. The space is great - probably not a bad seat in the house and the sound is fantastic. Definitely a great place to go for music aficionados.

While we don't go to Birdland to eat, one can see people there enjoying their meals. We go for the music, which is always excellent whether it's a headliner or the house Big Band. Service is always very friendly and accommodating. You feel like a...More
