I went to see the play 'Sweat' at the theatre in the former famous Studio 54. In youth I dreamt of going to that club, but I could not afford it; now, at least, physically I was on the premises of my past dreams. I truly enjoyed the play! All politicians, from Team Reps & Team Dems, must see it... More

Went to see our first Broadway play on my first trip to NYC. We picked Holiday Inn as I grew up loving to watch the movie around the holidays. The theatre itself was absolutely beautiful; not a bad seat in the house. Holiday Inn was fantastic, not quite like the movie but the cast held their own and by the... More

I had the chance to see 1 musical while I was in NY and I chose Holiday Inn. A golden oldie classic musical. Wow, the tap dancing was utterly superb. Fred Astaire would be so proud. The musical has such a good feeling to it which was lovely. Studio 54 is such an iconic place to visit. It has history... More

This theater is small with good views from any seat. It's a little out of the normal theater area making it easier to get to with no long lines at the parking lots. I don't understand how they got away with aisles that begin at the lobby end with several wood steps and then have wood steps all down the... More

We saw Holiday Inn and had row G seats. They were close to the stage and we had a great view. It's a small theatre but it seems like any seat would be good. The seats on the side mezzanine were taken by the orchestra in this show. There are only 4 ladies bathrooms downstairs but the line moved surprisingly... More

So the show Holiday Inn at studio 54 theater I liked the show a lot better than I thought I would. However the theater itself was very pretty buy VERY uncomfortable. There was no room between your knees and the seat in front of you Everybody was jostling the person ahead of them (at least in the mezzanine where we... More

This cozy theatre was featuring the play "Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn." The performance was outstanding with great singing, unique dance formations, and a light plot to hold it together. Music composed by Irving Berlin (including the timely "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas") was cleverly weaved into the plot. And, the costumes were dazzling! Highly recommend it!

We went to see an afternoon show, Holiday Inn which was excellent!! We had seats in the rear mezzanine and we were impressed with how great of a view we had of the show.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
