Fun, amazing place with some great food! Only criticism is the lack of variety of foods (being a fussy eater) and I was expecting it to be larger but that's hardly valid due to how popular and great all that is available! It would be...More

A top quality market full of food, clothes, Etsy sellers and all sorts of goodies. Very (VERY) busy and full of tourists so expect crowds or go early. I picked up a lot of my gifts for my family from here- beats the typical tourist...More

Right below the High Line is an eccentric collection of shops, restaurants, and bars. A restaurant catering to eating lobster. A coffee bar. Gift shops and clothes boutiques line this indoor mall of sorts. Great break from walking the High Line.

Located about a block from HighLine. This place is definitely worth the visit, from great food, atmosphere and one of a kind shops in the basement. A great social place to go with friends and walk around without freezing your butt off outside.

Converted or in addition to the old meat wholesale building, this is a "paradise" for the tourists, far away from the high rise in New York city and supporting the local "Highline" sprouted tourist attraction. There are many boutique shops selling interesting products through alleys...More

Lovely market in an old factory setting with many different eateries and novelties. Not cheap, but something different. Access to the High Line is close to the 10th Avenue entrance.

The location next to the High Line was great for an easy access to the Market. It was hard to decide what to eat because everything was so inviting. The stores are interesting too-wish there were more to visit on a cold rainy day.

Lot of lovely places to grab a bite to eat in the market. We didn't venture into the fish market though. Lovely atmosphere and nice shops

Below the hi-line! Smashing collection of eating places and little shops. Very steam-punkish with lots of original iron work and metal. Highly recommended!

one tiny option: if she likes hot sauce, on the lower level is the Hetologist, where she can get the hottest of sauces.

if she likes to cook, the cookware shop- tons of suitcase portable items there. The cheese monger is also great - maybe she will share her memorable gift with you.
