Unique, dreamlike experience

I have been trying to figure out a way to write a review for our experience at Sleep No More for several days. I'm still in a bit of shock from what happened. Since you can read any other review to see what the check-in, bar, and moving through the hotel is like, I will just get straight to our... More

I see where they are going with this production . I went with my husband who hated it .I agree with previous reviews that reading Mac Beth before hand may have helped in my experience .I did not enjoy chasing characters around up and down stair wells only to loose them due to other people pushing you out of the... A friend recommended I see Sleep No More, saying it's one of the best things she's ever done. After my visit, I have to agree! On entering the McKitterick Hotel, you are immediately disorientated as you follow a winding, dark corridor down to the bar area. You're presented with a playing card and wait for your number to be called.... More

Read Macbeth before you go and make sure you go to the toilet before you enter because finding the loos is really hard. I would not recommend this to anyone. It was Macbeth miming. Shakespeare needs words.

A unique and unrepeatable experience, let yourself be carried by the senses and I traveled the work following different characters. After more than two hours I think I have not seen everything .. can not miss it ..

Ill start by saying that I think the sets were great, and the "actors" were good at what they do. This just was not nearly as cool as the reviews made it seem like it would be. I found the experience tedious and boring. My first 20 to 30 minutes were spent wandering cluelessly around the halls and rooms trying... More

Sleep No More is an immersive play in which you wander the massive set and jump from story to story. This play is not your usual piece of linear story telling. The beautiful thing about this experience is the freedom to follow a set of actors through their role and through the different stages. I personally enjoyed wandering through the... More

This is an absolute must see in New York. It's so different from just seeing something on Broadway, this show is engaging, confronting, and generally spectacular. I would recommend ensuring you get there as early as possible to enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar beforehand, and then try and get into the 'hotel' as earlier as possible - the... More

The whole thing is very secretive and should be. It is a different and more interactive way to see a performance. Be prepared with good shoes and an open mind.

A very, very strange experience but definitely a must do if you're in NY. Set design is amazing - it's in a hotel they've reconfigured over multiple floors to look like a cross between a very creepy old hotel,a mental asylum, and a graveyard. Expect the unexpected and be prepared to be out of your comfort zone (in a good... More
