Wanted to visit a jazz bar to try it. Seated straight away as we had reservations - make sure you arrive early to get the better seats. We sat at the back which unfortunately had a huge pillar blocking some of the band. Great whiskey...More

Every Monday Mingus Big Band holds court which is a must see, but all the other acts I have see here are top notch. NYC is the jazz capital of the world, but Jazz Standard is intimate, cozy and reasonably priced, unlike some other more...More

Arrived late but allowed in as a few no shows. Up and coming artist Bria Skonberg was performing. Wine and food was good, wife had the stuffed shrimp and I had the burger. Not a jazz fan as such but the experience was fun.
