It's a nice clean and comfortable venue. It's a converted movie theater and down a few stories underground. But there's plenty of different stages and the sound system was good and the seating was comfortable. Almost every seat is a decent seat.

We were a group of 11 women on a girls trip to NYC. Our tour bus was hit by a car which made it so we were an hour late for our show. This theatre was kind enough to switch our tickets to the evening...More

We went to see Avenue Q last night. The show was pretty funny, entertaining and we laughed quite a bit. The theatre is small, people wear casual clothes to nicer outfits. There is a bar for pre-show bevies and intermission however we found them to...More

Went here to see The Imbible (highly recommend) and enjoyed the visit. There are a lot of shows here so it can be a little confusing when entering. In the basement there is a bar and lounge, and additional bathrooms. The bathrooms near the lounge...More

My wife and I attended a performance of "The Inspector General" at one of the underground theaters at this location and loved the entire concept. That particular show was a hoot! Lots of fast-moving slapstick and generally good clear seating, at least from where we...More

Took us 13 years to see the Q. We were glad we did. Went to the Saturday matinee. Cute and witty with some raunchy puppet sex. We get it... a young audience likes a little raunch. We had fun. Interesting modern subterranean multi venue. We...More

We finished our weekend in New York with watching avenue Q and it was a lot of fun. It was delayed 20 minutes for some technical difficulties, but the show was wonderful.

Saw 2 shows here...great intimate venue. I don't think there could be a bad seat here. Drinks are a little pricey, but will definitely be back next time!

It is a scary not too distant future where the unimaginable happens in America. Two person play with the great Tamara Tunie. I love New World Stages so many shows in one theater.
