This is a wonderful museum and well worth a visit and the price for admission. The masterpiences of Gustav Klimt are a must see. The important note about this museum is that it is relatively small and the staff clearly count patrons and will only...More

This museum feels like the private apartments of a wealthy and cultured European. The collection of Viennese art is among the finest in the world, with wonderful works by Klimt, Schiele, and others. The cafe is a nice place for lunch.

I absolutely loved the collection that this museum has. The Klimt gallery has some stunning works, and Adele Bloch-Bauer's portrait is simply breathtaking to look at. The other gallery has some Kokoschka works and Schiele works which are gorgeous too. The special exhibition on Richard...More

Beautiful small gallery in NYC. Some of the rules are absolutely archaic. No water bottles, no bags, no pictures. For the high price of $20 the staff and team may need to reconsider some of their practices here. The Klimt's are amazing. A few changes...More

This is a good, small art museum. Several paintings by Gustav Klimt, including "Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer", which was the subject of the movie, "Woman in Gold". The audio guide is included in the admission price. We had to ask for the audio guide -...More

I arrived early before the 11:00 opening time but was able to enjoy breakfast in the opulent cafe. The gallery houses both fine paintings but also some fabulous pieces of furniture and tableware. The gallery is fairly small but during my visit it was uncrowded....More

This museum shows all German/Austrian art. Of course, the Klimt work is wonderful. The famous Woman in Gold painting is there. I thought that the special exhibit on the second floor was great. A lessor known artist Richard Gerstl. His artwork is very interesting as...More

Last time we came to Neue Galerie, there was too long of a line for visiting the Galerie exhibition space and we loved our Cafe Sabarski experience which is located in the same building. So we decided to visit the Neue Galerie this time around...More

We had free passes, but I just checked online and it's $20 or $15 for seniors. It is definitely worth every penny supporting the unique gallery.
