A Doll's House Part 2 was good. The set is very basic. Two of the seats on stage didn't even need to be there. The plant was not the only embellishment. The content of the show was more than enough to carry it through however....More

Saw A Doll's House Part 2 which was great, but the experience with the theater staff left a lot to be desired. While I understand the policy of not allowing food and beverages into the theater, it's ridiculous to demand that patrons not only finish...More

Great, funny, moving show with a great cast, any seat is a good seat in this old deco theater from the turn of the century.

I saw The Encounter at the John Golden Theater. The theater is a very classy one, that has a 1960s Broadway touch to it that I hope will be preserved forever. I was seated downstairs about 10 rows from the podium -- so good seats...More

I went to the Golden Theatre to see Eclipsed. The [lovely] interior was obviously built during a bygone era, before ADA was mandatory and butt widths expanded. There were an awful lot of twisty stairs to reach the mezzanine and the aisles and seats are...More

Fantastic Play. Couldn't have been any better, compelling and captivating. The theater is small and intimate provided the true Broadway vibe without the glitz and glam.

We went to see the The Gin Game the day after Christmas. We sat in the rear mezzanine which was perfect. I wouldn't suggest sitting up front. Those people looked like they had a hard time seeing the show. The show was excellent. It was...More
