Getting to see this musical on Broadway was a great treat. The production was excellent and the theatre was beautiful. Language is not for the faint of heart and they warn you of that, but it was great viewing and comedy.

We loved it - gut wrenching, socially uncomfortable belly laughs as the profanity flew and the outrageous characterizations of the Mormon history/faith developed on stage. I kept nudging my husband to say "did they just say that?" If you are easily offended about religious commentary...More

As you'd expect from the creators, this musical pulls no punches and delves deep into irreverent satire. It was almost as much fun watching the audience reactions as it was absorbing the performances. As a disclaimer, you will probably not enjoy this show if you...More

As we watched the show, my husband and I just couldn't understand what the rest of the audience found so funny and enjoyable. We are young(er) and certainly watch our fair share of vulgar movies and comics, but this crossed the line for us in...More

While clearly satiric, it was needlessly vulgar and disgusting. The performance was done well in typical B,way style except the lead female had a very annoying, cloying voice. Would not recommend this- many other good shows- vastly over-rated.

I didn't quite know what to expect given the subject matter but it is one of the most entertaining and funny shows I've seen for a long time (and I've seen most). I'm not a great South Park fan but you can hear a similar...More

Makes a bit of fun at Mormons but gently. Just a little vulgar for humorous effect. Amusing, heartwarming, and well acted. Personally not a huge fan of musicals but I found it quite enjoyable so I guess that speaks well of it.

A very funny parody that keeps you entertained for the complete play. The music is good but the script and acting is really good.

Normally i would not go to a musical with a story line like this but my wife insisted. It was excellent - amusing story related to some serious themes (religion, poverty and aids in Africa etc). I wouldn't say that the music was particularly memorable...More

In fact, I'm a Thelemite with an affinity for both Guy Debord's Situationist International and the tenets of the Satanic Temple in Salem. I found The Book of Mormon to be tame and mildly vacuous. Thanks for the... More

I found the seating map accurate. If you are looking at the theatre in Broadway, everywhere is a good seat because they are smaller theatres. Premium seating, I assume, would be in the front half of the orchestra/stalls... More
