The opening number to this play is great. It was performed marvelously by the cast of "elders". There were a few other reasonably good songs in this musical. Story simple. Good Mormon gets paired with silly Mormon and they are assigned to go to the...More

Pros: the toilets are clean at the theatre. Cons: unfunny, no discernible plot, bad dialogue, boring songs, cheap shots galore and making fun of those who cannot defend themselves, Arnold was hopelessly unfunny, cliched, tried too hard to be offensive, expensive tickets

Offensive? You bet! Makes fun of just about every major religion out there? Oh yeah! Is there swearing? *GASP* Yes. And plenty of it. Pokes fun at itself? Yep! That's kinda the point, okay? It's laugh out loud hysterical funny, and highly entertaining. The cast...More

Found this play to be very cute, funny and amusing. My husband grew up in Mesa, AZ in the 70's which was majority Mormon, so he could relate to a lot of the nuances of Mormanism. It was an excellent example of: Conflict arises as...More

The Book of Mormon on Broadway was a great show, very funny, and fast moving. I highly recommend going. However, the seating was very uncomfortable with minimal elevation, making visibility of the stage difficult at times. I’m no professional, but could recognize uneasiness of a...More

Hasa Diga Eebowai! That pretty much says it all! A big middle finger to organized religion, LDS a justly deserved metaphor for all the smug, self-satisfied cults who remain convinced they are the choosen, the elect. Go, laugh, and then go forth spreading the Good...More

I had heard the soundtrack and I wanted to see the show. It was so much fun. Some people are offended, but what do you expect from Trey Parker. I enjoyed this show and do recommend it.

A laugh out loud, crude, rude and offensive show. That’s kind of the point. This show is made to repulse but you have to have a sense of humor. The singing, acting, and dancing were highly entertaining. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

In fact, I'm a Thelemite with an affinity for both Guy Debord's Situationist International and the tenets of the Satanic Temple in Salem. I found The Book of Mormon to be tame and mildly vacuous. Thanks for the... More
