Funniest show on the Broadway scene

Was my first Broadway experience and will forever remain my favorite. The ambience, the performance, the storyline, the comedy and the music all were perfect. A must watch

We had a friend who raved about this musical and my older teenage son is into satire and we were excited to get tickets. All four of us were not offended -- we were actually a bit bored. I was expecting some cheap humor but also some intelligent references and I was surprised that there was very little of that... More

Sure you will laugh, but you will also cringe and if you have any decency and dont walk out you will feel terrible. Matt Stone and Trey Parker peaked in Middle school as did Howard Stern. Dancing around the stage with 2 foot phalluses making pantomime sex at all the female cast. Yup its in there. I wish I hadn't... More

Without a doubt the funniest musical we have seen. Could definitely tell the genius and writing of Matt Stone and Trey Parker. Not one for the kids!!! Which makes it edgy and unique for a musical. Genuine laughter throughout and would go see again without a doubt - great way to finish a holiday.

Book of Mormon is clever and humorous. There's not a ton of "laugh out loud" moments since the humor is a little more subtle than that. But it's intelligently written and an interesting critique of religion.

As a big fan of comedy and the guys behind southpark I convinced the wife to go see the show. We were not disappointed at all! The humor is very dark so you should probably go if you get easly offended. If you can watch an episode of southpark you'll survive :) Teater was nice and we had good seats... More

Not for the faint hearted but a superb show! Cast were fantastic. Going to see in London now. Bar is expensive but then the queues for the toilet are long so advisable to drink less anyways.

I booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend as he's a huge South Park fan and he loved it. He's still singing the songs a week later. On a personal level, I expected more. The songs were catchy and the cast were brilliant and all so talented. I didn't mind the swearing or the topics brought up (I went... More

I am not new to Broadway plays, nor this sense of humor. I was looking forward to this show because of all the hype but was sorely disappointed when I kept checking the time to see when it would be over. Not a fan.

I am open minded and not a prude, but I thought "Book of Mormon" was awful -- not funny, totally gross -- I don't know what all the hype was about. I went to see it in place of my sister who wasn't able to attend -- I could not wait until the play was over -- it was absolutely... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
