What a truly interesting, enjoyable and informative tour with Ryan through Harlem. In addition to being a very pleasant man, Ryan gave us a wealth of historical facts about his neighborhood. We enjoyed it tremendously.

This tour reminded my how much I love NYC and how much there is to learn. Uncle Jeffrey was a kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and thoughtful guide as we toured Wall Street, Trinity Church, the Oculus, the 9/11 Memorial, and Chinatown.

This walking tour was very interesting - more a historic tour with ghosts thrown in to the mix. I enjoyed hearing about the places in that part of NYC and the people who became the subjects in the "ghost" part of the tour. This tour...More

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving
immigrant past and its modern transformation into a
beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side
is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city.
The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next
to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment
