Nintendo NY in Rockefeller Center is your very own Warp Pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond! With 10,000 square feet of dedicated gaming goodness spread over 2 floors, Nintendo NY offers new and exciting titles headed to the Wii U console and...more
I enjoyed going down memory lane. Some items especially the apparel seem to be a bit overpriced. It's nice that they have several games on switch you can play but I only wish they had some of the old systems to play too.
We loved the store. The best time to go is early in the morning so you can take photos and see the store as much as you want without too much noise and people around. The staff is very friendly and nice!
Unless you're into Nintendo products obviously don't bother going in. If you want to play some games, buy merchandise (including a pretty large selection of Pokemon plushies), or just take some pictures of the cool stuff inside, by all means.
Tip: Its pretty close to...More
My son had a great time, was the highlight of his 3.5 weeks in North America. It's a fun store with a mix of consoles to play, merchandise to buy (clothes, games, plushes, figurines etc), displays of historical consoles, and in-store displays like a giant...More
First off: I think that this is a must see for all Nintendo Fanboys, or even casual shoppers, it competes with apple and Windows in store design, HOWEVER

Being a lifelong Nintendo fan, I was really looking forward to visiting Nintendo NYC and it didn't disappoint. I loved looking at all the consoles through time and the character models in the store. Bought lots of things and staff were really fun and helpful....More
Going here brought back a lot of memories of my childhood, seeing a lot of the old games that used to be around. This place is all decorated in Nintendo memorabilia and characters, And has just about every Nintendo game available for purchase.
We took my 10 year old, Nintendo playing nephew to the store. There are tons of consoles for kids to play and lots of Nintendo souvenirs (ie: stuffed figures), but unless you’re up for buying games or a new system or letting the kiddos play...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

They have "stations" set up with different games that have single and two player areas. There is also an area upstairs that they have what would be the newest release game on a big screen. When we were there they had some free activities,(ie: Mario Kart Drivers License and posters) Hope that helps
