Wendy runs a wonderful Wine and Spirits Store. She was VERY knowledgeable and MOST helpful as we selected a Gilles-Robin Crozes Hermitage 2013 - Papillon wine from Rhone, France. The Papillon wine was first class and reasonably priced. If you need wine or spirits while you're in NYC, it's worth the effort/time to visit Oak and Steel. Enjoy. Well be... More

I was looking for something to bring back home for friends. I do not know much about wine, the person working was very friendly and helpful.

Located on 7th Ave at 57th street, this compact wine store is a great resource for me. While the quality stock is limited, you can walk away with great bottles- from a very expensive first growth to a few decent bottles under $20, and everything in between. I have been coming here for over two years, and have always had... More

The employee, Lily, was quite knowledgeable and pleasant. She helped us find the perfect bottle of wine for the occasion. This wonderful little shop has a large selection for every... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
