A neighborhood filled with numerous places to explore, eat and see. Expect a lot of walking but definitely a lot of pictures too!

Chelsea has a ton of great restaurants and bars. The Chelsea Markets have a wide range of food. The Whitney is located here at the start of the High Line. If you don't stay around here it is worth checking out

Convenient if you want stop for a snack. There are shops too. Felt safe walking in the area - I went in the middle of the day. Saw some historical buildings and looked up on phone. Was interesting.

We've stayed in this neighborhood several times and find it very convenient to subway stops, restaurants and clubs. You can walk to shows on Broadway. Grocery stores are here. Some very charming blocks.

Really crowded and over priced not too thrilled. But nice place to stroll and people watch and walk the high line

This area is very nice, with tons of shopping and restaurants. There's so much to see here, and it doesn't have all the crazy overcrowdedness of midtown/times square/tourist central. I definitely definitely recommend a day spent over in these western neighborhoods (Greenwich Village, West Village,...More

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful
brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most
popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s
jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The
contemporary art scene is an integral part of the
neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost
every night of the week and countless exhibits to
explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York
