Soho is a great place for unique, eclectic shoppers. You can find anything from chic, cheap boutiques to one of a kind couture stores. It can be somewhat hard to navigate and can require a lot of walking, but if you love to shop, Soho is a great place for fresh funky finds.

Love this area! The shops go on and on. I visited Eileen Fisher, Miu Miu, Longchamp and others for window shopping. I would have spent more time but husband wasn't in to the high end stores. This area is trendy and fun. If you love fashion, style, trends this is the place for you.

Unique shopping and the service received was exceptional. I walked into Louis Vuitton and was offered Champagne and chocolates. Did not like waiting in line for BAPE store, also feel that they are overpriced.

Nice leisure walk will lead yo nice fashion shops, wander of main West Broadway and Houston will yield surprise finds of gems. Small coffee shops, tiny eating spots, small crafts and arts stores. There is a Leica store with photo exhibit and museum quality cameras and lens--free! Go to Broadway for large store shopping experience.

We had a wander around the streets of SoHo and felt it lacked real identity. Whilst there are high end shops, there wasn't really much else.

Stop at almost any small street side restaurant, sit outside and you'll say, "man, that was good". So there's that. Then add the shopping. Tons and tons of the best known and best least known clothing and other shops.

If you want to walk around, eat and SHOP. SoHo,New York is perfect. It's not as over crowded as 34th or 42nd street. It's trendy and cool. Also a great place to get to know New York Cities vibe and diversity.

An historic part of NYC that has undergone so many transformations over the years. Now experience the plethora of shopping and dining options....but don't forget to admire the architecture (look up!).

The hubs and I wandered around SoHo last November, when the weather was still nice. We strolled, shopped, ate, and strolled some more. So pleasant!

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
