Do yourself a favor and just go see the Lion King. It’s amazing. If you are like me and grew up with this movie then you need to see this interpretation of its story. From the costumes to the performers it’s truly a masterpiece.

It's Broadway! It's New York City! It's must see! Very safe and family friendly. Great venues and great food. Very close to Central Park and easy subway access from airports or to other areas of the city. Can't wait to get back.

I'm not totally sure on this. I'm guessing that you might be able to take water in, but I doubt that outside food is OK. We ate before we went in.

I would definitely try buying in advance ! You’re guaranteed your seat and depending on the show you’ll probably get a cheaper ticket online. Hope you have so fun traveling in New York !!
