Expensive places all over this neighborhood. Lots of food choices and a great neighborhood stroll. Loved it.

The combination of historic buildings, art galleries and great restaurants make TriBeCa really fun!. We spent half a day walking around and identifying the historical buildings (there is a self-guided walking tour online) before heading to dinner.

Young, young, young people. That it what you experience walking in Tribeca. As an older couple we sometimes felt unique because of our age on the streets.

There are true neighborhoods in New York City. On a bright sunny spring day a walk to one such neighborhood was in order. TriBeCa has low rise buildings, parks with frolicking children, cobblestone walkways, and a sense of place. Give it a try.

There are so many neighbourhoods in NYC and each is unique. I enjoyed walking through Tribeca and seeing all of the houses and architecture. So much history as you walk the streets. There are a number of shops and restaurants to keep you busy.

Very cute area, definitely worth a walkthrough. Lots of great architecture (unsurprisingly haha) and tons of cafes in this area too!

Our favorite neighborhood to come back to when visiting NYC. Full of great restaurants and cafes, close to parks and the Hudson river. These days we favor the boutique hotels in the area for our visits to the City... The journey through the Holland tunnel is easiest for us, so Tribeca is our location of choice most of the time.... History! History! History! If you visit without understanding the significance, you can still enjoy lots of fun things. However, knowing the history helps to appreciate the dedication of the neighborhood and the crossroads it is.

Not everyone knows where the acronym comes from: it means TRIangle BElow CAnal. Meaning the triangle shaped part of Manhattan below Canal street. And here you should start your visit, Canal street is a large street cutting Manhattan horizontaly and it is the southern border of Chinatown. The Chinese community in fact is heavily present here and there is a... More
