It was good for a family

This is a off off Broadway show so if you are expecting Wicked or Les Mis keep shopping if you are looking for a cute show for a decent price this is a fun cute show.

The small venue, off Broadway production, Marvelous Wonderettes, was not on our radar. With a TKTS recommendation and last minute pricing we gave it a try. Great fun, family appropriate, exacting harmony, subtle humor combined for a delightful evening.

Our first time at an off Broadway play. We were surprised at how small the venue was. Felt like a small school auditorium. But the comedy and talent of the 4 actresses was all worth it!. The small theater made it feel like they were singing to you personally. We all enjoyed this performance very much. If you want to... More

Don't go honestly walked out during intermission. Biggest load of crap. We got reduce tickets for dollars I wouldn't go again even it was free. Childish humour not for adults. If you want to go to an amazing show go to kinky boots.

I wondered if I was being "punked". The venue, while small, felt like a quickly put together commercial garage. The sound system was inconsistent, and the performers mediocre. We left at intermission, which I've never done. Took the experience as a learning experience - don't attend Theatre during Christmas week. Felt really badly for young couple sitting next to us... This show was just plain silly. The women had fairly good singing voices (but my wife wouldn't necessarily agree with me). At a ticket price of $92.25 this was the first time that I felt ripped off going to a show in New York. I would have left at intermission, but I paid too much for the tickets.

The theatre was difficult to find so we missed the first 15 minutes. After watching Jersey Boys the night before this was simply woeful. The theatre was small, poor disabled access, I had to leave my chair and walk up some steps as someone had sat in our seats. The theatre was freezing! It The show consists of 4 females... More

DO NOT GO!!!! If there was a zero, I would give it that. I am a native NYer and have only walked out on two broadway shows ever.....this was one. Beautiful theatre and that's about all that was good about the experience. I asked the gentleman who was seating if the second half would be better and he said "I... More

OK, so I'll admit that I hadn't heard of this show. When I'm at a loss regarding what to see of an evening in NYC, I have a go-to guy at TKTS, who has never failed in recommending quirky and unique shows tailor-made to his current customer (I've watched him work; he doesn't just send everyone to the same old... This show will put a smile on your face and a tap in your toe. The campy characters tell the story of a 50's four-member girl group as they go to Prom and their 10 year class reunion. This is EXACTLY what I wanted to see in New York. Throw a Bollywood movie and a Grease DVD into a blender... More
