I guess I have watched the current insurance commercials. The statue is way out there and not facing Battery Park. Disappointed.

Lovely Park with a lot of beautiful views. And you can meet here many new friends because of the warm atmosphere in the Park.

The battery Park City Esplanade is great when you have good weather, don't you try to visit during winter as the breeze will freeze you. Enjoy all the options of restaurants in the area, I highly recommend Le Disctrict were you can seat outside and enjoy the view. A block north of the Three World Financial Center is the Waterway,... We stopped here in the evening so the fort was closed. We enjoyed walking around, seeing the Statue of Liberty, and learning some history. The kids went on the fish sea glass carousel. It is $5 per rider and lasts just a few minutes, but is unlike any carousel we had seen before. It was a cool experience for the... More

I was visiting this park as a part of tour to Downtown. But this isn't anything great. Could be avoided by the tourists. It has good food carts around.

Great place for joggers, bikers or walkers, tons of things to see and do by the bay. Also a great spot to see the Statue of Liberty.

A local recommended Battery Park to my family when we visited the city, but overall, we were disappointed and felt like our time could have been better spent exploring other areas. The carousel was charming, really, very pretty, and the Pier A restaurant was good, in spite of the lousy service. That's about it though. The park itself didn't feature... More

It was the closest park from our hotel. Just 15 minutes of walking. Park is very nice. There is a lot of trees, bushes and beautiful flowers. Some of the trees were blooming during my visit in April. It was awesome. There is a great view of Statue of Liberty. This place is busy because of long lines to the... More
