Of all my experiences in opera houses around the globe, I remain a big fan of NY's. Last season I saw ten operas and though not each one took my breath away, I appreciate that the MET is willing to take risks with new productions...More

If opera is your thing, the Met is a glorious place to visit in New York. Located in Lincoln Center which in itself is worth a visit you can experience one of Americas greatest orchestra and opera singers applauded the world over. Don't miss it

I has been attending the opera and ballet at the Metropolitan Opera since I was a very small child and I have since become a patron of Lincoln Center, Met Opera, and American Ballet Theatre. There are very few bad seats, but if you want...More

The Met Opera never fails to disappoint me. I have seen many operas there: Turandot, La Bohème, Nabucco, Idomeneo, La Traviata, Der Rosenkavalier, and Don Giovanni. But in this review, I am going to focus on the 50th Anniversary Gala, a six hour musical party...More

We always try to do at least one opera when we visit New York. Attended two this time and loved every moment of both! Whilst Romeo and Juliet was enjoyable, Aida was simply spectacular!
