Went to this show while in NYC on Dec. 8th. Outstanding true story, great acting and singing. Although the show is based on the horrible circumstance of 9/11, it masterfully works in humor throughout the show. It is in my top 5 shows that I...More
The show is awesome. The set is very simple. The show tells the story of 38 airplanes that were diverted to a small town on September 11th. The show follows the story of the people from the plane and also the people in the town....More
At last a musical for adults - easily the most emotionally satisfying and entertaining musical I've seen in quite awhile. An unlikely historical 9/11 event for a musical that is ingeniously and creatively staged with a brilliantly talented ensemble cast.
Runs about an hour and...More
One of best plays ever to be brought on stage. The story is amazing- we never thought about the plane people or Gander. The cast is phenomenal. My second time seeing it. So impressed with the talent in this production. Highly recommend
Come From Away tells the wonderful story of the small town in Newfoundland that was inundated with almost 7,000 visitors when the USA closed down its airspace on 9/11. The play tells to story of the area coming together to house and feed these people...More
This is a very simple production. The scenery/set remains basically unchanged for the entire show and the only props are really wooden chairs. The cast each play multiple roles and for the first few minutes I wasn’t a fan of this. But it grew on...More
This is an amazing production! One minute I was crying and the next I was laughing! This was a very educational and fun play that I recommend all to see if they have a chance! I spoke with someone who actually was sent to Canada...More
Being from Canada, but from the other side of the country, we had heard a bit about what the Newfoundlanders had done for the stranded passengers during the 9/11 crisis. However, seeing this musical made us burst with pride for our fellow countrymen and their...More
I can’t believe the glowing reviews I have read for this production. I saw the production in Toronto and was less than awed. No one can argue with the “feel good” story based on the incredible generosity of Newfoundlanders during the 911 events and their...More
I thought - how can a musical be made about this story......which I was very unaware of! From the opening act, we were drawn in. The stories, the plight of those passengers, the people from the town. We laughed and cried. It was such an...More

I got my tickets from the box office, which is usually easier if you live in New York City and it is a popular show. otherwise, i recommend using Telecharge, as mentioned above, if you are an out of towner, even though it'll add $15 or more per ticket for service charges.
i typically recommend avoiding other "theater for sale sites" unless you think you're getting a real good deal and willing to pay the price.
Come from Away is a popular show and probably won't be discounting tickets any time soon and may be hard to get tickets day of the show or a couple of days out if you are coming into town during the busy tourist season.
but whatever you do - get tickets. it's my favorite show, easily, of the past 6-7 years.
