Beautiful sets. Due to the story being told in Russia & Paris they used a hologram in the background to portray Leningrad, Paris, a ballroom etc. I love the story but thought it was unnecessary at the end for the actors (in character) to remind...More

STORY: Do you know the animated film Anastasia? Well, if you loved that story, you will enjoy the Broadway show. There are slight variations to the story - instead of Rasputin we have a Russian solider as the antagonist. There are new songs, but the...More

I knew the musical was different from the film in storyline, but I wasn't sure how it would be executed. While I was underwhelmed during the first act, the show came together absolutely stunningly in the second act. I really loved the song "In a...More

My 13 year old daughter chose Anastasia for us to see while we were in the city. We live in the south so we don’t often get to go the theater on Broadway. I second guessed or doubted her choice thinking that there were other...More

Beautiful production with fantastic set. As someone who has never seen the cartoon the story was really moving. If you are unsure what to see at broadway this is really great.

As someone who grew up watching the cartoon the play did not disappoint. All the songs I remembered. Staging is amazing and customs are just beautiful. Would see definitely go to see it again.

First of, Anastasia was my favorite cartoon growing up. The story/history of it was just worth telling. I just loved the fact that it was dark and haunting at times and the story telling was impeccable. They infused a lot of high tech and excellent...More

It is an old theater so the speakers are not in the walls but hanging on the wall. We were in the 2nd box stage right and we didn't see the things happening on stage right.

It is not very steep, but the stairs are very narrow as it is a really old theater. I would suggest you look for same price tickets on the orchestra.

I certainly do! The costumes and sets are beautiful, those things alone are worth the experience. My 10 year old niece didn’t know the story and still loved the performance/ experience.
