Easy to spot near the corner of 79th and Broadway. Banksy street art is covered in plexiglass to preserve it. This is supposedly the only Banksy art in Manhattan that has not been painted over. It is worth a look. I like this neighborhood.
They say this is the last one of the 30 installations made by Banksy in New York that's left. What an imagination, eye for opportunity and ability to execute his vision. Even the most ardent hater of graffiti has to love his work.
My travel buddy told me of a Banksy that was preserved I was like show me!!!! We found it and it was beautiful (yeah I mean its a stencil but still) I felt so good to see one of my favorite artist work on display...More
Preserved by the owners of Zabar store, this Banksy is so charming, I can stare at it forever. Go see an original of the greatest street art master of our time. It's free!
