I’m my 70 years as a New Yorker, I had never visited here. Friends from Florida we’re visiting and said they had heard great things about it. It was very enjoyable. Great old photos and displays. Beautiful graphics and images. Half hour film about New...More

Loved the exhibit on microbes and diseases that had a dramatically effect on NYC. Amazing to learn about the female rebels that helped to change culture and society. We were fortunate to see the selection of Stanley Kubrick’ photos that were public in Life magazine...More

Located on 5th Ave next to Central Park, a convenient spot to check out while visiting the upper Central Park. Clean, well laid out, and interesting exhibits on topics (Germs?) one might not directly align w/NYC history.

This was my first time at this museum, and I went specifically to see the Germ City and Stanley Kubrick exhibits. As a previous review mentioned, there is a lot of reading involved, so I think it would be great if this museum (as well...More

Of all the museums in NYC we expected this one to have some interesting detail for our teens regarding the Wall Street Crash, and the Great Depression that followed. Nothing! Absolutely nothing other than 2 lines. We spent 20 minutes here as the display and...More

My wife, daughter and I visited the Museum last week. While my daughter explored on her own, my wife and I spent almost 2 hours on a guided tour. We learned some interesting info on NYC, but I can't get over the amount of misguided/lacking...More
