This is an astonishing building, both architecturally and for what is in it. The shows are well-curated, but the real stunner (if you are a person of normal means) is what unbelievable wealth J. Pierpont Morgan had to have amasses to construct and fill this...More

This place is often missed out for the more noticeable museums in NYC. However it is Definitely worth a visit. Their collection of Illuminated manuscripts is excellent. Also they have A Gutenberg bible on show and I believe 2 others.

It is easier to spend a few hours here if you love books and art and are willing to take your time browsing this beautiful museum. This house was owned by the JP Morgan family and is part of the "Connoisseur's Pass" available through August...More
