Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was expensive as we paid the driver $100 and the journey turned out to be much shorter than we had been expecting. However, the driver was lovely he was well informed and his horse cooper was well behaved. We loved the visit and for us it was well worth the expense.

My first time there and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much to see and enjoy. We enjoyed the sights, entertainment and the beauty of it right in the heart of NY. Can't wait to go again.

Central Park is a huge open area in the heart of Manhattan. It's the jewel of NYC. Apart from the lawn, there's a huge water feature, with row boats. Many people like to picnic here. If you are traveling by foot, the Park is great for walking. The Park is a lot safer than it once was, but it's best not to push your luck and walk through it late at night. Central Park is inviting; it almost divides NYC i in two; it is a great asset to the City.

Just a fabulous place in a city that never stops. We spent a whole day just meandering through the park taking in the Woolmer Rink, Bethesda Terrace and the lake, all the way up to the reservoir and the oddly random Belvedere Castle.
The park is bright and vibrant (and this was very early Spring) with musicians and artists dotted around, people and families just out for a walk in the air.
All the while surrounded by the buildings and sky scrapers of an international city that is never out of eyeline but certainly out of earshot.
The only downside is the horse/cart rides, they absolutely reek both as they stand at the park entrances and when they slowly pass you in the park!

Due to our quick visit we opted to ride bikes on the Central Park loop so we could take in as much as possible. It was fun to see all of the families with children, the dogs of every size, and we also enjoyed taking pictures throughout the park.

As part of our tour, we made a stop at Strawberry Fields in Central Park. The beautiful scenery and serene atmosphere are sure to be even more impressive when nature is in full bloom.

Love this place. It’s the park to escape the cars, people and big buildings. Never went to the zoo, we walked all round it and just enjoyed it. Would not even think of the horse carriages, those wee souls look like they need set free to a ranch!

Only one question.
WHY Shakespeare monument is inscribed at the back of the base not at the front???
Monument is located at the Literary Walk.
Thanks!

hi,
Central Pak is very easy to find; there's à lot of entrance all around the park. You can choose one of the entrance located along 5th avenue. But, the best way to enter the park is at columbus circle. Central park start at 59th street(south and finish at 110th street(north). The most touristic part off the park is located beetween 59th et 79th street.
Hope It will help us

There were beautiful flowers throughout our walk. It’s hard to say where exactly you can find the best. I did find help with workers who drive around in carts. They can tell you where the best spots are.

Central park is 10 minutes by foot! But it depends to which place at central park you wanna go because the park is so so so so big! Otherwise, you can take the C (blue) line to UPTOWN & QUEENS. One good station for the centre of central park is 81 street - museum of natural history. Have a nice day.

Central Park is the most visited park in the USA, millions of people visit every year. I suggest that you check with the NYC authorities about canoeing.
