Love it here though paths do not navigate tourists through the park well. Gorgeous and well kept Park, I actually went ice skating here and took the horse and carriage ride around the park which was expensive at $70 for a 15 min trek. There are lots of knowledge locals willing to give free information about the park . 100%... More

First time going to NYC in September and this was high up on my list. Best time to go is normally early in the morning during the week to avoid the crowds, but it's big enough that that doesn't make too much of a difference!

We were so lucky with the weather as it was a crisp cold day, lending its self to a fine walk from one end of the park to the other .we stopped at the tavern on the green for a coffee which was reasonably priced and nicely made.

Central Park has something to offer everyone but, most importantly, it offers an oasis of tranquility in the mayhem and chaos of Manhattan. The views it offers are spectacular and its meandering pathways take you away from the hustle and bustle. Not to be missed.

6 of us hired bikes and cycled to all the attractions with a guide who knew his stuff. Felt very safe and not crowded - the locals were celebrating thanksgiving elsewhere!

Vary pretty... Did the carriage ride and ate out of a hotdog vendor. I know it was very cliche but a great time!!!

Central Park is amazing with hundreds of paths and maps to show the various parts. At this time of the season there is an ice rink available for anyone to skate on for a small fee, from $7 to $15 depending on adult/children and day of week. Weekends are moe expensive. Along the west edge between 69th and 70th streets,... More

Central parc is one of the obligatory visits if you go to New York. It is a wonderful parc with some lakes and open spaces for walking, running or just breath.

Walking through Central Park is a wonderful experience for anyone visiting NYC. The miles of paved trails is a welcomed relief from the hustle and bustle of NYC>

I've been to NYC many times and usually stay near Bryant Park, but during the holidays, thought a walk through Central Park was a must. It was busy, but not overly crowded, as it's large. We took a long walk and it was fairly uneventful, but we stumbled upon a few of the most popular spots, including Strawberry Fields and... More
