My favourite building in New York. Unique design set in busy intersection but plenty of spaces to sit and relax/ take photos (pedestrianized area/ park). Great for photo opportunities

The Flat Iron building is a very unique looking building and photographs very well. The area around this building is busy, with both locals and tourists, but there are loads of good stores and restaurants.

I don't know if it is possible to visit the inside of the building, but the outside is beautiful as is. Well worth dropping by for a few minutes, particularly on sunny day.

What an amazing sight, even in competition with other NYC icon buildings, this one stands out for me. The shape and presence is just magnificent.
