We were only allowed in the front door because it was closed for the night but the marble, the architecture and the paintings were amazing!!

great views of New York, but if you go to new york in July and August it is closed to the public and only the lobby open to take photos at the entrance. but is cheaper and better views than the Empire State Building when it is open...

What an incredibly beautiful art nouveau building! The lobby is Ajax=zing..spend time marveling at the Charles Lindbergh ceilings, the woods, the old fashioned elevators.... And the lobby ladies are really wonderful

You can catch a glimpse of this building walking around Midtown - it's especially nice when lit up at night!

First of all you can see it just about most areas in Manhattan. Just standing and admiring the amazing architecture of the Chrysler building is enough for me. By the way I have a smile on my face just thinking about it!

It's an incredible building from an architectural standpoint. Unfortunately, you can only get in to the lobby and not much more.

You will be able to glimpse the best-looking building in all of NYC from most points in the city. Each time you will marvel at its elegance. Visitors to the actual building are limited to the lobby, but this is worth a visit to admire its confident beauty. Don't miss.

This one is a truly great piece of architecture. Stands great in the busy island of Manhattan. One good reason to see NYC.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
