I love art deco era things. The lobby of this building is one of the WORLD'S best examples of art deco. I am not sure if they have an observation deck or not, they might not have one.

Although there is no tour here , it’s worth a look at this grand old Art Deco building. The closer you get the worse the view is but you can admire the workmanship.

Just walk into the lobby and look at the beautiful walls and floor. The ceiling is a unique work of art.

This building dominates the skyline but the closer you get, the less of it there is to see. The foyer is beautiful though and at night the mast is lit.

It was wonderful to get to view the different architecture around the city. This building is so beautifully designed and depending on what time of day you see it, the color of the building and the shading changes. If you love architecture, don't miss this...More

This has to be the most beautiful building in New York. It tends to get lost amid the mass of glass and steel but it is a gorgeous example of the Art Deco movement.

This iconic structure is great for photographs. It is not open for visitors but you can step inside and see the lobby. T he Art Deco buildings such as this one and The Empire State Building are quite beautiful in a sea of skyscrapers.

This is a gorgeous example of Art Deco style and an absolute favorite. Seeing the Chrysler Building lit up at night grounds you in NYC. Unfortunately, there is no access to the top of the building, or the interior other than the lobby. You can...More

The viewing deck at the Chrysler Building has been closed for decades, so get your Manhattan views either at 30 Rock or the Empire State, or the magnificent One World Trade observatory downtown. BUT, don't miss the Chrysler... More

Bear in mind that any building you go up will not have that building in the view, so I would recommend going up the rock or one world, as you'll want the Chrysler or the empire state in your view. And eat somewhere else... More
