This is my most favourite building in the world. I always make a point of visiting when in New York. I love the Art Deco design and try a creep in to the fabulous lobby - only disappointment is that you can’t fully visit

The Chrysler Building was, for just under a year, the tallest structure in the world. until it was surpassed by the Empire State Building. The Chrysler Buildng is an Art Deco icon, a materpiece of Modernism. It's by far the best-looking skyscraper in New York City. The building is famous for its spire and eagle gargoyles. It's planned to create an observation deck on the 61st floor in the near future.

An iconic building that you unfortunately can't fully visit. However, you can get some lovely views of it from different parts of the city.

Whenever you think of NY, the chrysler building is one of the landmarks which are most recognizable with its art deco style, the peculiar turret and antennae at the top and its majestic size (considering we don't have skyscrapers in my country). I had fun reading about its history, and I found it insane that the heirs of Mr. Chrysler sold it for only 18M back in the 50s, considering that it was recently sold again for 800M... This teaches you that if you have a building or a plot, better do something with it but don't sell it, land and space are scarce and they will only increase by value. We did not have the chance to enter its lobby, but wherever we went our eyes met it, as it stands out in the Manhattan skyline. Overall a wonderful building, worth taking a look at.
