Great stop for a national monument that focuses on the history and culture of the Indians. A well preserved ruin, though birds seem to be destroying it. You can go through the museum and ruin in under an hour.

A great example of a well preserved set of ruins in the region. The visitor center is very informative and air conditioned. Make sure you bring lots of water even for this short walk.

On a weekend trip to Arizona and we were just driving in the desert with no particular destination. Found this monument by accident so we decided to check it out. Wow... history from 900 A.D. clearly visible. The site is small and you can do...More

The wife and I stopped here on our way from Tucson to Phoenix. This is a very interesting place to visit. The overall area makes it very easy to explore in a reasonable amount of time.

Great presentation and preservation of the ancient Sonoran Desert people's community. Through film, artifacts and ruins the community of the ancient people come to life. Surprising sophistication in regards to farming and architecture led to a far reaching influence in trade, culture and administration.

I suggest contacting the the monument site. I would tend to think not as some areas are rather fragile and are roped off.
