I had initially talked with Jen Howe at Redrock Adventure Guides two years ago shortly before our first trip to Torrey, UT and Capitol Reef NP, but scheduling problems precluded the trip to Cathedral Valley then. Not so this time, although thunderstorms the previous week left things questionable as to the road conditions out in the valley. However Jen went... More

These are the moments in your life that you will always remember. We chose the Cassidy Arch repelling adventure knowing that we had never repelled before and that I'm scared to death of heights. The hike up to the arch was simply breathtaking and scary at some points. At Cassidy Arch, the sheer magnitude of the height at 170 plus... More

My wife and I took an all day trip to Cassidy Arch with Steve. He texted the night before to make sure we were all prepared. Picked us up at the hotel and the adventure began! Steve paid attention to our breathing and adjusted the pace of the hike. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.... More

I recently did a full-day tour of Cassidy Arch Canyon with Steve & Jen -- we had an absolute blast! Canyoneering is not my strong suit, but they made me feel so comfortable and able to trust the equipment that I forgot to be nervous.

Certainly this was the "Big Event" of our recent tour of the Utah's major 5 National Parks. Steve picked us up at our Torrey hotel exactly at 9, we went over our Reppelling experience, which was zero! After descirbing our options,Steve let us choose which area of Canyonlands we felt comfortable doing. We and he felt that "5 Wives" fit... More

We had an excellent time on our canyoneering adventure with Steve as our guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, he's really seen it all in outdoor adventuring. Made us feel very safe and was especially kind helping us get started on the first rappel when fears were running high. He was very detailed and patient about exactly how to... More

Our tour started at 4:30 when Jen Howe picked us up at our hotel in Torrey. I was not sure this would be early enough to get to the Temples of the Sun and Moon by sunrise, but Jen was spot on. We arrived at our location with time to spare!! Jen was a great tour director and the time... More

Steve was great ... a pro's pro. My son and I wanted a Father's Day adventure and that is exactly what we experienced. The first drop (over 170 feet) is mind - blowing and each of the next 6 drops had a different kind of challenge. Highly recommend.

We went on a week long Utah roadtrip and did multiple Canyoneering trips across Utah. This trip to Cassidy Arch was by far the highlight. Our guide Steve was amazing, he was always willing to answer any questions about the area's past and it's geology. Steve was always making us feel safe. Even the most nervous person at the top... A friend of ours from Boulder, Colorado recommended Redrock Adventure Guides for our first trip to Capitol Reef National Park because they do an excellent job with their guided tours. We were interested in doing the sunrise photo tour, and because Steve was already booked up for the week he arranged for local photographer Bob Palin to be our guide... More
