THis destination will take about an extra 45 minutes to a typical visit to Canyon de Chelley but, if you have the time, it is worth it. Spider Rock itself was not that awesome to me but the overall views certainly were.

Booked a tour with Beauty Ways Tours to see the Canyon and Spider Rock. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable and informative about the area. The jeep ride was bumpy but well worth it for the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommended.

This was a bucket list sight and did not disappoint. So glad we took the South Rim drive at Canyon de Chelly. So glad that we made the trip it is a little remote but so very worth the time.

You need to see these from the bottom of the canyon to appreciate their height and beauty. You can only go down in the canyon with a Navajo guide.

This was on my bucket list to see with my own eyes. We drove the South Rim of the Canyon directly to the Spider Rock turn-off. The walk from the parking lot is relatively short (~200 ft) paved walkway. Once you reach the overlook, you...More

Driving the rim of Canyon De Chelly can give you an overview of the grandeur of the canyon. Driving the canyon with a guide gives you an understanding of the people who have made this canyon their home for centuries.

Very nice views. Amazing short walk around the rim. Highly recommended and not a lot of tourists. Take the whole South rim drive a there are a lot of interesting viewpoints.

Spider Rock is an amazing geological formation. The view gives a sense of wonder. I was there right after a rain storm so the colors were deep. Can't wait for my next trip there.

It is a 5 minute walk rom the parking lot to the view, however it is slightly hilly in some areas, however if you take your time it shouldn't a problem. Re the drive, 2 hours will give you time for all of the stops. You can... More
