We did a 3 hour jeep tour of the canyon floor which mostly consisted of seeing several Anasazi ruins and many petroglyphs and petrographs. Unfortunately, we found out that you need to do the full day tour to get all the way to Spider Rock....More

This is definitely a more natural park than most, we took all day tour and saw very few other tourist all day. I felt I should of got a T-shirt saying I survived the all day tour, but only had stickers.

Don't know for sure, but suspect they are snow-free! Have no idea what the winter temps are like but think they're at least in the 50s.
