Drove from Deland, also checked out the zoo and Playalinda brewery. This is a great place to hike, beautiful and definitely enchanting. Saw a ton of bees and butterflies, with appropriate scrubs everywhere. Coquina plentiful. Dredged canal. No bikes allowed. Enjoy.

We had a good time walking all the trails. The butterfly area was really cute & we saw a couple tortoises. Really cool place.

My wife and I went there 5/7/2017 to enjoy the day, nature and hoped to truthfully see nature untouched by man and only beast. Well, maybe not a beast but birds, animals of that nature kind, insects of many kinds, tortoises, actually your not sure...More

Well marked walking trails, seemed to be more sloughing through sand than I would have expected. My timing may have been bad (middle of the day) but there wasn't much to see in my trip. I've heard about some great wildlife sightings, but not so...More

No alligators there. There is a small frog pond and a canal that flows through, but no alligators.
