This is a beautiful resting place for our fallen hero's. When you drive up the hill and suddenly see all the white crosses and headstones on the well maintained green grass its an instant realization of what Freedom really Costs.
As well as the military cemetery it is also the entrance to Point Loma National Park. Be sure to bring your camera and leave yourself plenty of time (at least 4 hours) to enjoy the breath-taking scenery.
This spot made me feel reverant. I had just lost my brother the previous month (he was a Vietnam vet). We should always remember the sacrifices that many men and women have made for us and our freedom!

This is an amazing, free visit. You'll immediately feel reverence for those that have served our country and be in awe of the view of Downtown San Diego, Coronado and beyond.
This place is such a wonderful tribute to our fallen military personal. The rows and rows markers are all so straight and perfectly lined up. This place is well cared for.
We have been to many national cemeteries. This is on par with Arlington. Very peaceful and a great tribute to our heroes. The views are terrific. Must see.
