We just spent 3 hours on the USS Midway. I would highly recommend it. Ship is in perfect condition and audio tour is great. A must do in San Diego.

This museum is AMAZING! time will fly by as you spend hours exploring the top deck and inner working of this amazing ship. We enjoyed the audio tour along with guides who worked on the ship in years past. There are several exhibits that have audio and props to make you feel like it must have felt to live abroad... More

I wondered why was this museum the top thing to do in SD, but after visiting it, I truly understand it. There aren't enough words to describe the aircraft carrier's magnificence and the whole life it has had. It sure was like a floating city which prepared tons of food daily for the soldiers. Watch the movie which tells you... More

We were glad we bought the San Diego GoCard ahead of time, as we not only saved 20% on admission, but we also could bypass the ticket line and go straight to the turnstyle. There is a lot to see here on multiple decks, including a movie, many planes and a gift shop, so allow a few hours to see... More

Plan to spend at least half a day if you want to see everything. There is so much to see and do. Don't miss the trip up to see the bridge.

Experience a well maintained decommissioned aircraft carrier. The USS Midway Museum features exhibits showcasing the lives of sailors, some wonderful aircraft and an informative audio tour. A veteran who served on the ship was there the day we visited and entertained us with his experiences.

The USS Midway is enormous and jam packed with heaps of interactive stations, however there are waiting lines and this can eat into the time allocated at this attraction.
