Took in game opening weekend, had great seats in 200 level on first base line. Wow! What a great view of field, information boards, video screens. Best park I have ever been to and I even got to see the Padres win!

I lived in San Diego in the 80s and 90s back when the Padres played at Jack Murphy Stadium. This stadium is so much more appealing on so many levels: Location is better, scenery (open to downtown) is incredible, and the food/beer options are some of the best in sports arenas I've been to.

Great food options. Lots of beer options. Easy vendor locations. Sadly it is surrounded by A LOT of homeless and panhandlers. Although I felt safe with my group at the day game, I'd be very cautious during night games.

We went to opening day at Petco Park - realizing that this would be a very busy day. The stadium is beautiful and open and we enjoyed the game! However, I wouldn't plan on eating or drinking anything local here on a busy day. We tried two different beer vendors with large signs promoting 4-5 local brews, to be told... More

Took trolley from Little Italy station..Pretty fast screening to entry..Bought tickets weeks ahead on stubhub. Upper deck behind homeplate..Left early due to stiff wind and cool temps. Saw some Padre memorabilia displayed lower level 3rd base side..Seems like stuff should be in ballpark museum like Cinncinati or Texas Rangers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Padres first home game of 2017. Add to that the fact that they beat the Giants! The park is beautiful and everyone was very friendly. We had Giants fans next to us who filled us in on their players and Padres fans behind us. There was a great assortment of food and beverages for the baseball... More

Great seating, at certain locations harbor views, just perfect day/evening watching baseball ... or the occasional concert or other non-game day activities. The Convention Center just minutes away to fill out those idle time .... it's maddening, as there is so much to do in the Petco Park area. Worth taking in a game even if your not a baseball... More

It's a little confusing getting into the park. We had first base side seating, but couldn't find a way to get to an entry close and had to use mid outfield entry. Once in, we were shunted the wrong way. They do have an amazing outfield complex for kids with a miniature ballpark. There are multiple craft beer vendors and... More

This is one of the most beautiful ball parks in the country. We are touring all of the ball parks in the nation, and haven't yet hit them all, but so far Petco is #1
