After visiting USS Midway, one can stroll to Little Italy, where there are large number of Italian restaurants on basically one street. Very active on a Saturday evening.

The farmers market in Little Italy is a must see in San Diego. There is a wide variety of vendors; food, artists, and even a little music. Many many vendors to browse on a Saturday morning.

Great part of town to get authentic Italian food! We loved the outdoor and open air dining options. We settled on Civico 1845. Staff was amazing and offered great options! even made several dishes off the menu! people watching was a plus, but the food was the star of the show!

Very active place especially in the evenings. We went here for dinner, but enjoyed walking around to see the sights, check out the restaurants and people watch.
