Great place to enjoy the water views ... take a stroll down the boardwalk .. or better still walk along the pier to the end. Great views back towards the beach

I really love OB. Everyone is very laid back, there is a great vibe, and you're right there at sunset cliffs and the OB Pier. There are great restaurants and bars in the area and everything is reasonably priced.

Lots of breweries in the area. Worth going just for that. The beach is quite nice too. Pretty scenery. Just a place to hang out for an afternoon.

Cool beach with good local vibe the pier is amazing, so long and get a really good view of the ocean. The ocean isn't as nice as Coronado or la jolly cove area but worth checking out for the hippie surfer vibe.

This corkey, old school beach is great for fish tacos, jewelry shopping and good market finds. It's beautiful beach also.

I have always loved OB for the laid back hippie feel of the area and the restaurant overlooking the life guard tower near the pier. There were always interesting little shops tucked along Newport Street are now pretty much head shops, tshirts and "antiques". Not to mention the "peaceful protests" on the beach made it a not-again visit.

Love this atmosphere here. You feel like a local. The beach is nice, has firepits and the beach was not real crowded. On one side is a dog beach and the other just for people. Loved watching the dogs playing on the beach and water. Great views including nearby pier. I felt like a local here.
