This is an old world, small, warm east coast style bar that they say is about 80 years old. Dark wood and brick walls. Pretty inexpensive drinks. Average age was probably 30ish so caters to most age groups. The best part were the bands that were playing each night. They were the best live bands I've ever heard in a... More

Good service, and a variety of good live music every night. Nice atmosphere, and great location, with the Cajun Kitchen right across the street.

This is certainly a place where locals hang out. Not a large place but who cares - they like the Packers. Inexpensive beverage, usually have something to snack on in the back on Sundays; Dogs & sour kraut or sloppy Joes. We always stop here when in town.

Went here after dinner for a night out in the Gaslamp. I will never go anywhere else. The band (they have live bands every night) was just amazing...people were cheering and dancing, etc. It is a fairly small place with lots of wood and brick so it feels very intimate and fun. The door guy and the bartenders were super... More

Great place to take in some of the local color, I have been there 4 times and always enjoyed the live entertainment. It is a small place but good crowd every time I'm there. Great bands small cover and smoking area out front for the cigar lovers.

We came here to have a couple of drinks and to listen to some good ol' blues....we got both! Live music starts at 9pm, so we made sure we arrived at 8:30pm and we got the last two seats (also, after 9pm there's a $5 cover charge, before 9pm it's free). The drinks were good, the bartenders and waitresses were... More

I've been to SD 100's of times & this was my first time to Patrick's. Tiny place... But we got lucky & got a table right by the dance floor right away. Great service from the waitress & bartenders. Great energy. The band was awesome & I love them coming off the stage & out into the bar. Can't wait... More

This is a great bar. It was recommended to us by our hotel concierge and by Sheila in Hard Rock Cafe next door. The band were excellent, the atmosphere was great and the drinks were reasonably priced and strong. Also enjoyed speaking to the barman who was friendly and interesting.

We had the privilege of seeing Johnny V and his band perform here - what a night of great music and atmosphere. Patricks is the best Irish pub on San Diego. Good service, clean toilets and good fun. Loved it.
