Want a fast & fun whale watching experience, without the crowds, and with a much less likely chance of getting motion sickness? Here at Adventure RIB Rides, we seat 6 people per boat so you are never fighting for that seat leaning over the rail like many larger boats. We are the only YEAR ROUND whale watching company! Our ocean excursion on the Authentic NAVY SEAL R.I.B. (Rigid Inflatable Boat) provides an adventure to remember as we race through the ocean finding all types of marine wildlife there is to be seen with captains whom are extremely experienced and passionate about marine life and the history of Sunny San Diego. Our boats are all authentic Navy Seal Team R.I.B.s purchased from Navy Seal Team 1 here in San Diego. Explore the marine life on some of San Diego's historic boats with us! For videos that explain more about the experience, check us out on Facebook!

We crossed paths several times with one pod of dolphins that had easily 30+ animals in it - they swam and leaped alongside, under, and behind the boat each time. I have never been so close to them, even in captivity. We also saw a...More

The boat is fast and furious...and intimate. "Low to the ground" so-to-speak (but water of course). The bigger boats have certain advantages, but mostly you're feeling like you're on a carnival Cruise line...whereas in these boats, you spot a whale and get right in there....More

We had a group of 12 in two small boats on a three-hour trip. We saw no whales, no dolphins, only a couple of seals sunning themselves on a lifebuoy. So the trip turned into three hours of slapping up and down on a rough...More

I need to start this out by saying that nothing in life is guaranteed. And although my son swears that he saw whales briefly rise and disappear back into the water, I was not lucky (or apparently quick enough) to spot them. With all that...More

We booked this last minute on a whim when we decided we really wanted to go out on the water and the traditional whale watching cruises seemed a bit slow-paced and boring. This was really fun being so close to the water and going at...More

I was apprehensive about this experience, as I'm not a fan of boats or the sea, but it was fantastic! Our captain, Ray, was knowledgeable and experienced, and instantly made us feel safe and comfortable. The boat ride itself was exhilarating and exciting... and then...More

Our Captain (Clint) was excellent and we had a great afternoon. Seeing a mega pod of common nose dolphins was the highlight of our trip. Great time for all and we will be back! 🐬🐳👍🏻
