Smaller than expected but the exhibits inside were really good. A mixture of cars, motorcycles and rear rods

Great museum in Balboa Park. When I visited there was a Rat Rod collection on display, which was excellent. There were some really great works there! The regular collection is good, too, and I think they have a great variety of motorcycles, with great information...More

A pretty sad museum. Carried only about 30 cars and 15 bikes. Most was one type of vehicle being a rat rod exhibit. Would of been upset if we didn’t have the buy one get one tickets.

We had a fun time visiting this museum. Lots of antique motorcycles and old cars. My favorite was the Louie Mattar 1947 Cadillac.

While visiting San Diego we decided to drive around beautiful Balboa Park. We really enjoyed the interesting displays at this museum. The '52 Louie Mattar $75,000 car & camper trailer really got our attention. With a history of motorcycling in our family, we were also...More

I had been here years (many) before and it displayed local's antique autos. This exhibit was about 1/2 Baja and 4x4 and other off road vehicles with a few motorcycles and other vehicles added. Guess it depends on what you want to see, I expected...More
