fun things to play with!

This is a great museum to take the kids to, as well as fun loving adults! So many things to play with that are science based, but not dumbed down to a kid's level. We spent... read more

The Fleet Science Center, with IMAX Theater included, is a wonderful scientific adventure for all ages. The exhibits change regularly, so there's always something new to see. And much of it is "hands on," especially for children.

We took a visiting German student to visit this place as something for her to experience. We were happy that we received reduced prices as seniors. We really loved the IMAX movie that we watched and that was worth going for, but you can't buy just the movie. The exhibits that you can experience while you wait are very hands... More

As science museums go, this one is certainly geared toward families with young kids and school groups. Adults and older kids will not find the museum all that great. There are lots of hands-on activities and IMAX shows included. But I was underwhelmed for the price.

We made this visit with our 1.5 year old daughter. It was very busy the entire time we were there due to a few school class trips. We tried to explore some of the exhibits but they weren't easily accessible for our young daughter. The kids zone area was perfect for her and she enjoyed the activities there, especially the... This is a great museum to take the kids to, as well as fun loving adults! So many things to play with that are science based, but not dumbed down to a kid's level. We spent about 3 hours there investigating the exhibits, tho the one we would have love to see was not yet open, it is a Sherlock... More

We visited museum around 11:30AM and soon kids wanted lunch. The restaurant was outside with very long line. After waiting in line for over 30 min, finally got to order the meals. When I ordered kids meal for kids, the cashier was telling me that it is very small portion. For example, if you order grilled cheese, you will only... More

We went there today and I am so surprised by the negative reviews. Our kids are 5 and 2 1/2 and they loved their second visit here. We purchase the Go card, which also includes the movie. The kids spent four hours here and then we watched Extreme Weather in the IMAX. It's a great place to spend a rainy... More

Have been to a few other science museums, this one was a bit limited and not really interesting to us as adults. But the children seemed to have a good time with the interactive displays.

So like many of the reviews here we found the museum geared more towards younger people. We watched an IMAX movie ad well which was average. A bit overpriced for what you get. Staff was very friendly.

Having been to many science museums/exhibits in many N. American cities, this is one of the worst. Now, if it was JUST for kids, it would still be a waste, as many of the displays are broken. It is run-down and just so very small and so sad. As adults, you pay $20 for an IMAX movie. They are open... More
