This is a beautiful, albeit small museum compared to the one in New York City. However, it is very manageable and maintained to the highest of standards. The new exhibit on dinosaurs is informative and entertaining complete with huge examples of several dinosaurs. Helpful guides...More

Really enjoyed the interactive exhibits and videos used in conjunction with the fossil displays. The kids were mesmerized by the dinosaurs and enjoyed finding the diploma stamp stations scattered throughout the exhibit. Educational, fun and worth the cost. The California centric exhibits were fun as...More

This museum is nice as far as it goes, but it is small compared to other natural history museums I've visited. There are exhibits on dinosaurs, and on the environment of Southern California. Be aware that for a building this size, especially one the encourages...More

We paid $55 for three of us to enter. I thought the skulls were quite interesting. Other parts of the museum were informative, but I expected more extensive exhibits. Apparently, large portions of the building are devoted to research. The building itself seemed to be...More

The 3D films alone are worth the visit but the special exhibits on the 2nd floor are extraordinary with explanations and close-up views of scientific milestones.

Displays a lot of California natural history. Nice place to bring your children for a better understanding of past, present, and possible future changes our environment plays in animal development. A little pricey @ $19 for adults (discounts for seniors, military, students, and children). Hope...More

This museum would not be interesting to small children. Seems that most exhibits had a lot of reading to go with it. However, we didn't do the dinosaurs because that cost was extra.

I was very impressed with this museum. It currently has one of the best, most interactive dinosaur exhibits I've ever seen (and I've seen many - I like dinosaurs!) The museum is the perfect size to be interesting without being overwhelming. The Photo Ark exhibit...More
