I grew up in the area, friendly place to live and to visit! Walking, running, roller blading, boating (sailing and water skiing), volley ball, bike riding, swimming, build sand castles, and picnics and BBQ's with families and friends.

All the good things about the beach without getting beat up by the surf. This is a place where the locals take the kids. A beach without the hassles.

This is a very nice, clean and friendly park. You see people of all ages making great use of this beautiful park. We enjoyed our walks their with our grandchildren.

The area is really nice to walk, suitable for family and couples, many areas to set and relax, SD weather does not disappoint either, recommend

We had to make a spacial trip just to ride this old wooden roller coaster. So worth it!! Totally rough and rickety and old style...loved it!!! Not much else at the old amusement park, but there is a nice beach. Recommend going on a week...More

The Mission Bay park is a great place to go for Picnics, Walks, Bicycle Riding, Roller Skating, BBQ's or just relaxing. Plenty of parking. Bring your pop-up and chairs BBQ and dont forget sunscreen. You can also watch the Sea World fireworks at 9.

Yes there are tons of bike rental shops in Mission Beach. Just google them as you can find one every few blocks. It usually costs about $20 for the day. The boardwalk runs all along the bay and ocean
