We just drove through looking for camping sites we thought we might want visit in the future. It is not maintained well at all and we decided we would not visit for a weekend stay in the future.

A large recreational area, dominated by some magnificent lakes. There is no Elvis centre to the campground - he is reported to have played with his mates around there as a boy. There is a good road in and out. Pull offs for the campers...More

Rebuilt after a tornado flattened the entire landscape. If you've never seen this it's a great opportunity to get an idea of what a tornado can do. Also a pretty place to take kids fishing.

Recently re-opened Lake was closed due to April 2014 tornado, but has been restored and improved. Check local fishing license requirements before you 'wet your hook'

This attraction is closed....rating is only due to the facilities not being available at all. There was storm damage that is being repaired.....so do not plan to visit this campground without checking on its status ahead of time.

Our first stay in Tupelo, we were very pleased with this park. A rating of very good may be a stretch but certainly above average. I can see where a superintendent with some extra funds could make improvements in the restroom facility but everything worked....More

We went on a weekday, before the end of the school holidays and it was empty - no one there. Drove right up the little promontory, down to the pier decking and basked in the sun. Perfectly peaceful and plain gorgeous views over the lake....More

Somebody who gets paid to manage this place should grab a trash bag and hit the trail (or hit the bricks and find a new gig)! Nice park but unforgivable site conditions with bottles and cans, butts and paper plates piled in and around the...More
