One of the best in Boston

In terms of Asian karaoke, limelight is the best in Boston. It's expensive, though! Definitely fun on a weekend with just 2-3 close friends.

After a business dinner, my team and I went to Limelight Stage and Studios for the after party. When you enter they have a stage for the public which was nicely set up but they also have private rooms. So we got ourselves a private room and sang our hearts out! We were a diverse group so some even sang... More

If you're looking for a Japanese or Korean-style karaoke room, this is not the place to come to. The touch screen is attached to a panel, meaning that you can't sit on the couch and pick songs with it, and everything in the system is based around Chinese songs and artists. Terrible selection of J-Pop and K-Pop (surprising since both... More

Ive been here a couple times - though I'm not a huge fan of karaoke - the location is awesome. You get quite basic service here - very pricy drinks (understandable), old school paper based song request system (in the stage area) and a pretty fun atmosphere. I was grumpy because the 8 of us showed up and only a... More

Went there for a team activity after a business meeting and was so much fun! The personnel was very accommodating and we had so much fun with the karaoke! Highly recommendable!

I got a private kareoke room for me and 7 other girls for my friends bachelorette party. We got it for 1/2 the price because we had a groupon. I believe it would have cost 100 an hour for the room we spent 50 with 10 shots of saki. They also have a main room. The bar is kinda small... More

Our company decided to go a little crazy this past dec. and had something other than our standard holiday party. we voted and decided on limelight, as some of us have been there on our own before. omg, you can't imagine how much fun we had! there is nothing like seeing your boss on stage :) would definitely recommend to... The $5 cover is equivalent to what most karaoke bars charge at the door. But, the drinks are enormously expensive. Their "bar" isn't really a bar either. It's a tiny little counter where 2-3 employees run around behind the counter serving drinks and doing transactions at the same time. In fact, it resembles more like a bowling alley cash register... My friends were in town from Seattle, and they have shown me karaoke out there, so now it was my turn! We showed up at 10pm, so we were too late to get a reservation for one of their private rooms (note to self: call ahead next time - duh!), but we did have an awesome time in the main... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
