The staff is very knowledgeable and customer focused. Many of their hats are specially made for them so you can't find them elsewhere. Selection skews to men's hats but have some nice women's hats. They have a number of branches in other cities. First bought hats from them at their Charleston store. If you like hats this is definitely a... More

These hats are reasonably priced for the quality. They run about $40-$150 per hat but are well-made, and the customer service that the store provides is excellent. If you are considering buying a hat, this brand is worth the splurge.

My husband wanted a flat cap and didn't know where to get one. Goorin Bros. was recommended to him, so we tried it. They had his size, which he was amazed to find. The price was reasonable too. The gentleman that helped him was friendly, and customer service oriented. This shop isn't just for men either. They have hats for... More

We set out for Newbury street specifically so my husband could buy a few new hats. I had read about Goorin Bros online and was not disappointed. They had a great selection with an array of hats in all shapes and sizes for both women and men. I was assuming we were going to spend quite a bit since it... More

On our last visit to Boston from the UK we just had to go back to Goorin Bros. If you're a hat fan do add this quirky shop to your itinerary. The staff are great; they themselves are enthusiasts with great senses of humour. I bought yet another of their hats after much trying on of options. This time I... More

As an inveterate hat buyer I just had to visit this store. It was our first port of call after arriving in Boston. So pleased we went and to chat with the Manager was great. As it happens we ended up buying four hats (three for me and one for my wife). The black linen cap I purchased has become a favourite already (... This is the best kind of store on Newbury Street, in my opinion. It's rare to run across a hat store these days and this one is well worth the stop. I sat in one of the arm chairs near the store window and alternated between people watching and watching my two friends try on hats. My feet were so... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
